Onward ever Onward

Onward ever onward I travel into the great unknown, Trailing with me … my history from the day | was born. It all adds up to who | am.

Actions, Decisions, Steps Taken, Circumstances, Things Unforseen, all have given me a sense of a Self … I never knew existed. I am in Awe!

I step quietly seeking I know not what, searching out Possibliities … that could be mine, knowing not … how much time I have to explore. These things Matter … I am Excited.

Like a sleeping flower … sun kissed … dew dripped, I Unfurl into this new day. Looking back over my shoulder … I see the Shadow of a Younger Me, Innocent … Beautiful … Untouched by Tragedy.

Brighter and just behind me … a Strong, BattlevRavaged Woman … Pushes me Forward, excidedly Whispering “There is More!” What can she mean? I turn and smile and wave Goodbye … Farewell to a Future I do not know.
